TWO ACRE FILMS
Meet Lydia
They/Them
Founder of Two Acre Films
Hi there! I'm Lydia, director and founder of Two Acre Films; a filmmaker, occasional florist, and always artist residing in Philadelphia, PA.
While my primary focus is in directing, I have experience in several areas of the arts and entertainment industry including videography, editing, and set design. In 2021, I started Two Acre Films, a company founded on the vision of bringing accessible visuals to artists, small businesses, and community organizations. Ultimately, I define my work as creating visual arts for rising creatives to feel expressed in the journey of sharing their truth. Thank you for being here, and sharing a bit of your journey with me today!
Inclusivity Statement
If you're sharing your voice through film, or truly any medium, representation and inclusivity matters. It's my top priority to make any individual I work with feel seen and heard in the full scope of their story they bring to the table. In my work and my art (sometimes they're the same thing) I aim to continually hold space for calling each other in, and forging the most supportive path in the realms of self expression.
Mission + Vision
What is the "why?"
If you can get clear on "why" you do anything, then you've found your purpose. The purpose behind starting Two Acre Films was to create a door to a future of accessible and community-based filmmaking. It's our mission to use this space to cultivate connection, give voices a medium to express through, and create art that encourages growth and healing in our world as a whole.
